Trip to Arkansas: Nashville

Catch-up Post #6

After leaving El Dorado, we set out on the 2 1/2 hour drive to Nashville, Arkansas where my grandparents live. It was a fun couple of days. Not only were we able to see all of our Arkansas family, but also my sister and her family who came up from there new home in Texas.



This Christmas tree with dolls all over it was in the lobby of The Southern Belle, the hotel where we stayed in Nashville. Of course, our doll-loving girls had to have a picture taken in front of it! :)

The second day we spent in Nashville was more low-key. We had Grandad and Memaw all to ourselves. Memaw is reading a book to the girls which Jewel deemed scary. She kept asking Memaw to skip over the bad parts...which was quite a bit of the book since many of the pictures looked "scary."

Memaw had name cards layed out for the 20 or so people that were at Thanksgiving dinner. After clearing the tables, Jewel asked if she could make a wreath out of the name card leaves. So that is what they did!
