We had a great trip to Arkansas a couple of weeks ago. We pretty much had only one plan to keep the girls occupied on the trip--our portable DVD player. And it decided not to work! The girls did so good on the 11 hour car ride despite the fact we had very little for them to do. Jewel made this pillow while riding in the car.
Our first stop was El Dorado, Arkansas where we visited with Jimmy's brother and his family. It was a fun day. Shannon made us a delicious dinner which included deer steak. Yuummm!
It was a really pretty day. We had fun outside playing around on the four wheeler and shooting Dakota's bow and arrow.
Of course, our little animal lover Jane had a wonderful time with the EIGHT puppies that they had!
Present time! The girls absolutely loved the dolls and Crayola color magic Princess coloring books. They really helped keep the girls occupied on the remaining 17 hours of driving that was still before us!
The girls had a great time with their cousins. They we SOOOO exhausted by the time we took this picture right before we headed to Nashville, Arkansas. They were asleep before we left El Dorado!
